Volunteer for Folsom Street Fair

Folsom Street Fair

The Yellow and Black booth at the Folsom Street Fair on September 30th will have a small table with information about our group and our upcoming parties, and our traditional Piss Pool.  The Piss Pool (offered at past Folsom Street events by the Rubber Men of San Francisco) is just a plastic wading pool, placed on top of gym pads and a tarp, which folks are invited to climb into if they wish to be pissed on by other fairgoers.  A 10' diameter standing umbrella will be available for shade.

In addiition to being fun and kinky, the Piss Pool is useful to the fair, discouraging people from pissing on each other on the streets or sidewalks.

The booth will have a sign reading something like this:

Yellow and Black Group
Piss Pool Rules:
Anyone can climb in, dressed any way they want.
Climbing in = consent to be pissed on.
Photo-shy?  Loaner hoods are available.
Pee-shy?  Take your time; piss pigs are very patient.
Please limit your time in the pool to one hour at a time.  Thanks!
Keep the piss in the pool and off the street.

We discourage body contact during piss play (i.e. no “sex”, please). No shit.
Have fun!

Climbing in or pissing is free, of course!
Taking pictures?  Please donate $1 per picture.
Taking video?  Be generous!

Volunteer Tasks:

Booth Setup:  Please arrive no later than 8:30 am, to help set up booth.  We will tell you the exact booth location just as soon as we know it.

Pool Setup:  Help us inflate the pool.

Pool Monitor:  Sit or stand at the table and encourage folks to climb into the pool, and to piss on the folks in it.  Discourage sexual contact (i.e. no touching while pissing).  Answer questions.  Politely request donations from picture-takers.  Enjoy the view.  Please sign up for as many one-hour shifts as you can.

Tear-Down and Clean Up:  Help us carefully drag the pool to a storm drain and empty it out.  Load table, umbrella, etc. into car.  Leave booth area cleaner than we found it.

  • When you sign up, your name will not be visible to the public.
  • You should receive an email confirming your volunteer shift(s), and a reminder email a week before the event.  However, just to be on the safe side, please make a note of your shift(s) in your personal calendar NOW.
  • If you need to change or cancel your shift(s), or have any questions, please write to info [at] yellowandblack.org, or send a text message to 415-652-6790.
